INSTRUCTOR: Kathy Barton Allen
has over 25 years experience teaching specialized art classes and workshops in
CUSTOMIZED: Classes are
customized to work with individual skill levels and areas of interest. Learn the
art techniques you've always admired but didn't think you could master.
AGES: Classes are offered for
ages 7 through adult.
SUBJECT MATTER: A wide
variety includes landscapes, flowers, nautical, animals, people, animation, and
fantasy. Tangible steps make even difficult subjects possible.
TECHNIQUES TAUGHT: Drawing,
colored pencil, pen and ink, acrylic watercolors, pastels, mixed media, oils
and acrylic on canvas.
CLASS SIZE: Regular ongoing
classes are limited to between 4-6 students to ensure one on one instruction.
TIMES: Regular daytime,
afternoon, and evenings sessions are offered. Classes range between two to
three hours long. Summer classes are also available on a weekly basis.
COST: Sessions range from $30
to $40 depending on class size and length. All materials and a custom mat per
finished piece are included in class fee!
